Sarath C. Weerasooria, operates as the Chairman of the Finco Group of Companies. Under Sarath’s tutelage, Finco Group has grown into a leading conglomerate in Sri Lanka with interests in a wide range of sectors, including Trading, Construction, Manufacturing, Services, ICT, and Leisure.

As Chairman, Sarath was responsible for setting the overall policies and providing the necessary leadership to the company’s senior management with regard to the implementation of its strategic objectives. Prior to holding this topmost position, Sarath also occupied the Group Chief Executive and Vice Chairmanship positions within Finco Group, where his valuable contribution led to the establishment of over 10 associate companies under the group’s umbrella.

Priyanjith is the Group Managing Director of FINCO Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and has over 25 years of experience across manufacturing, apparel, consultancy, financial services & leisure industries. Priyanjith provides strategic direction and leadership to the CEO’s of group companies in Hotel and Travel Sector, Manufacturing, Energy and the Consultancy Practice.

In 2011, Priyanjith divested FINCO’s interest in apparel following and lead the group’s expansion into the leisure industry with UGA brand of hotels. The investment into bespoke travelling planning with the formation of TFG in 2014 complimented FINCOs existing businesses of general sales agents of Korean Air, Alpha Travels & Holidays (Pvt).

Senaka holds a Masters in Information Technology (University of Canberra, Australia), a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law (Australian National University) (ANU) and a Bachelor of Science (ANU). He is also a Director of Wealth Trust Securities Ltd. (a licensed primary dealer in government securities.)

Having obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Technology Sydney, he is the present Chairman of Capital Alliance Holdings Ltd. and a director of Associated Electrical Corporation PLC and ADZ Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. Dinesh serves on the Board of Uga Escapes (Pvt) Ltd and possesses over 25 years of experience in the fields of Manufacturing, IT, Finance, HR Consulting, Leisure, Risk Management and Insurance services. He also functioned as a Non Executive Independent Director of Orient Garments Limited, which was once a subsidiary of Finco Group before its divestment in 2011.

In addition to his position at Uga Escapes, Dinesh is the Managing Director of Associated Electrical Corporation Ltd., while also functioning as CEO of ADZ Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd., and Chairman of Capital Alliance Holdings Ltd, Capital Alliance Ltd., and Red Dot Tours Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Furthermore, he also holds board positions in several private entities which includes AEC Properties (Pvt) Ltd. and Commercial Agencies (Ceylon) (Pvt) Ltd.

Mr. Priyathilake is the Chairman & Managing Director of Fascination Exports (Pvt) Ltd, a leading exporter of apparels which was established in 1993. His association with the apparel industry in Sri Lanka dates to 1986 when he established Fascination (Pvt) Ltd. Mr Priyathilake has held many positions in various trade organizations during the past few years. Amongst them Chairman, Sri Lanka Shippers’ Council (2004/2005), Chairman Apparel Exporters Association of Sri Lanka (2006/2007) and Chairman of JAAF (Joint Apparel Association Forum – the apex body of apparel exporters in Sri Lanka) in 2017. He has also served as a member of the Textile Quota Board (TQB).

Mr. Priyathilake brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the FHL Board. His experience in driving significant business growth, knowledge of manufacturing and marketing and his expertise in building long-term partnerships will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and grow our portfolios of businesses.
